For nonprofits

Find grants your nonprofit qualifies for

Every grant portal works differently, every login is separate, and the same organizational answers get typed again and again. GrantTitan replaces that with one verified profile: it proves your eligibility, posts your needs, and fills in every application you start.

Eligibility first, application second

Most grant searching is guesswork: you read a funder’s guidelines, guess whether your organization fits, spend hours on an application, and find out months later that a single rule excluded you from the start. On GrantTitan the order is reversed. Every grant publishes its eligibility rules in full — who can apply, tax status, where the funder gives, what it funds, budget size, and which documents it requires. Your verified profile is checked against those exact rules, and you get a determination you can read before you write a word: you qualify, you don’t qualify — with each reason cited — or one thing is missing, naming the thing.

That means the hours go only into applications you can actually win. And when the answer is no, it costs you minutes, not weeks. How eligibility works explains the determination in full.

One profile, verified once, used everywhere

Your profile is verified automatically against named sources — your EIN (employer identification number) against the IRS tax-exempt organization database, your profile and transparency status from Candid, and the match between your email and your organization’s domain. The checks re-run on their own schedule and whenever your email or EIN changes. If a check cannot pass, it fails closed: you get the plain reason and the fix you can make yourself, and the checks simply run again.

That verified profile then does the repetitive work. The facts every funder asks for — legal name, tax status, place, topics, budget size, the documents you keep — are already on the record, so each new application starts pre-filled. You read the whole application first, then answer only that funder’s own questions. Drafts save as you go, and everything you have submitted lives in one submissions list: drafts, applications in review, awards, and your award history, across every funder.

Post your needs where funders browse

Grants are only one direction. Your organization can also post needs directly — money for a program, materials and equipment, or volunteers — and funders browse those postings looking for work to support. A funder can offer support on a need or invite you to apply to a grant that fits. You choose, for each need, whether it is visible to funders across the platform or only to funders you apply to. Needs that are not cash at all — a van, laptops, skilled volunteers — are first-class listings, not an afterthought; see in-kind donations.

After the award

Winning is not the end of the paperwork. Funders set post-award check-ins — a report date, a photo of materials in use, a short update — and on most platforms each funder tracks theirs in a different place. On GrantTitan every check-in from every funder lands in one task inbox, with award and decision notices in one notices list. Your document library holds the forms funders ask for — determination letter, W-9, Form 990, financial statements, budgets, donation acknowledgment letters — and a document is shared only with the specific application you attach it to.

And the cost, plainly: nonprofits pay $0 — to join, to verify, to post needs, and to apply, with no percentage of any award ever taken. Funders pay the subscription that keeps the service running. See the pricing or read the FAQ.

Trust, verification & security

GrantTitan’s credential is not a badge we bought — it is a record you can read. Every verified profile names the source it was checked against and the date it was checked. This is the short version; the full page explains every rule.

Verified from named sources

  • Checks run automatically against the IRS tax-exempt organization database, Candid, verified school-system records, and the organization’s email domain — and fail closed, with the plain reason, if they cannot pass.

Security, in plain words

  • Multi-factor authentication, role-based access, encryption in transit and at rest, and a full audit log of who saw what.

Money & students

  • Seekers pay $0, and no student names, photos, grades, or records appear anywhere on the platform.
Applying and verifying are always free. GrantTitan never charges a fee to release funds, and will never ask for gift cards, wire transfers, or your password by email. If someone asks you for any of those, it is not us.

On certifications, plainly: we are building our controls toward SOC 2 Type II. GrantTitan is not SOC 2 certified, and we will not claim to be until an independent audit is complete.

Proof, not promises

Advance-fee grant scams dress up in borrowed badges. GrantTitan displays no certification logos at all — only claims you can check yourself, in one click, at the source. Our seal appears only where a check has actually run — and every check names its source.

IRS records

Nonprofit status is checked against IRS Tax Exempt Organization records.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. GrantTitan never holds grant funds and never sees or stores card numbers.

Schools & privacy

No student names, photos, or records — anywhere, by design. We are ready to sign the National Data Privacy Agreement (NDPA) with any district.

What we hold — and what we don’t

Every certification we’ve earned, and the ones still in progress, are listed on our Trust & Security page. We claim only what we hold.
