For small funders, nonprofits, teachers & schools

Grants, verified profiles, and funding — in one place

Funders publish their grants and their rules in full. Nonprofits, teachers, and schools keep one verified profile that proves eligibility, posts their needs, and fills in every application — so nobody re-types the same answers into a different portal ever again.

These figures state how GrantTitan works — they are product rules, not usage statistics.

A plain promise: GrantTitan never charges a fee to release funds. If anyone asks you for a payment to unlock a grant, it is not us.

Who it is for

One platform, both sides of the grant

Grant software usually serves one side: funders get a private portal per foundation, and everyone else re-enters the same information into each one. GrantTitan is built as a shared record instead — funders publish once, seekers verify once, and both sides work from the same profile.

Funders & foundations

Post a grant with its eligibility rules in plain picks, see who qualifies before they apply, review and score every application in one list, and track post-award check-ins.

Grant management for funders

Nonprofits

Keep one verified profile that proves eligibility, post what you need — money, materials, or volunteers — and apply with your answers pre-filled.

Find grants for nonprofits

Teachers

Post a classroom need with itemized line items. Verify with your school email; the award is paid to your school, never to you personally.

Schools & districts

Your district record anchors teacher verification. Schools post needs and apply as institutions, receive funds, and keep documents in one library.

How GrantTitan works

Four steps, the same for every grant

  1. 1

    Verify once, from named sources

A nonprofit is checked by EIN against the IRS tax-exempt database and Candid. A teacher attaches through the verified school-system record and a school email. Funders pass the same checks. It runs automatically — and re-runs on its own.

  2. 2

    Get eligibility in plain language

Every grant publishes its rules in full before you apply. Your profile is checked against those exact rules, and the answer is a determination you can read: you qualify, you don’t — with the reason — or the one thing that is missing.

  3. 3

    Apply with your profile pre-filled

Your verified profile fills in the answers every application shares. You read the whole application first, then answer only that funder’s own questions. Drafts save as you go.

  4. 4

Stay on top of check-ins in one inbox

Award and decision notices arrive here, and every funder’s check-ins land in one task list — not a different portal per foundation, not another password to remember.

Running the grants instead? Post a grant with plain-pick rules, let seekers see whether they qualify before they apply, review every application in one list, and follow the check-ins you set. The same record, from the other side.

Needs, not just grants

Post what you need — money, materials, or people

Funding does not only flow toward whoever finds the right application form. On the needs board, nonprofits, classrooms, and schools post what they actually need: a dollar amount, specific materials and equipment, or volunteers. Funders browse the board and can meet a need directly or invite the poster to a grant. A classroom need carries itemized line items — each supply, its quantity, and its price — so a funder sees exactly what their money buys.

Our model, in plain words

Who pays — and who never does

Funders pay a subscription

Funders are the customers. A flat subscription covers posting grants, reviewing applications, and tracking check-ins. See pricing in full — every rate in plain words, side by side.

$0

What seekers pay

Nonprofits, teachers, and schools pay nothing — to create a profile, to verify, to post a need, or to apply. No percentage of an award is taken from the recipient, at any size, ever.

When a grant is paid here

When a funder pays an award through GrantTitan, the funder pays a 2.5% transaction fee plus a flat 3% processing fee, both on top of the award. The recipient always receives 100% of the award — the fee is never deducted from the grant.

These are product rules — how GrantTitan is built to work — stated here so you can hold us to them.

Trust, verification & security

GrantTitan’s credential is not a badge we bought — it is a record you can read. Every verified profile names the source it was checked against and the date it was checked. This is the short version; the full page explains every rule.

Verified from named sources

  • Checks run automatically against the IRS tax-exempt organization database, Candid, verified school-system records, and the organization’s email domain — and fail closed, with the plain reason, if they cannot pass.

Security, in plain words

  • Multi-factor authentication, role-based access, encryption in transit and at rest, and a full audit log of who saw what.

Money & students

  • Seekers pay $0, and no student names, photos, grades, or records appear anywhere on the platform.
Applying and verifying are always free. GrantTitan never charges a fee to release funds, and will never ask for gift cards, wire transfers, or your password by email. If someone asks you for any of those, it is not us.

On certifications, plainly: we are building our controls toward SOC 2 Type II. GrantTitan is not SOC 2 certified, and we will not claim to be until an independent audit is complete.

Proof, not promises

Advance-fee grant scams dress up in borrowed badges. GrantTitan displays no certification logos at all — only claims you can check yourself, in one click, at the source. Our seal appears only where a check has actually run — and every check names its source.

IRS records

Nonprofit status is checked against IRS Tax Exempt Organization records.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. GrantTitan never holds grant funds and never sees or stores card numbers.

Schools & privacy

No student names, photos, or records — anywhere, by design. We are ready to sign the National Data Privacy Agreement (NDPA) with any district.

What we hold — and what we don’t

Every certification we’ve earned, and the ones still in progress, are listed on our Trust & Security page. We claim only what we hold.
